On the auspicious day of 16th January 2021,the World's biggest ever Vaccination Drive started in India. According to the government, around 1.65 Lakh people were vaccinated on the first day. Doctors and researchers have advised to ask the vaccinator about the vaccine details. One will not have any rights to change the vaccine brand as per the government guidelines. As we have to take multiple doses of vaccine, we must ask the vaccinator that whether it is Covishield or Covaxin. It is necessary to stick on the one company.
As stated, In India we have two vaccines in which both of them have the equal efficacy. But talking about the Covaxin, after the Phase III we are not aware of the absolute effectiveness. As, the trails are still under process (As of 21st January, 2021). The scientist have assumed that the vaccine may have 60-70% efficacy.

The vaccine will help you to fight against the virus. You may also suffer from minor side effects which may last for few days. These are the normal signs and tells you that your body is building protection to safeguard you from the virus. Also, it may effect your ability to do daily work. There is no need to panic.

If you feel pain where you got shot, you can apply cool washcloth near that area. You may also exercise some. The most common advise could be to drink plenty of fluids.
If you think that the side effects or redness and tenderness are being increased after 24 hours, contact your doctor or healthcare provider.
